Text Box: February 11, 2000  Dear Jim, When I moved to Tucson 2 years ago you visited me as the new K of C insurance representative. At that time you said that you would be there if I ever needed you. In the event that one of the family died you would come and help with the funeral claims, etc. I thought at that time that you were a nice guy but did not take much store in what you said in regard to helping in time of need. I certainly did not think I would need this kind of help for a long, long time. When my wife came down with cancer last year and passed away at age 59, I found out that you were indeed a man of your word. You were right there, helping in all the ways that you had promised. Words can not express my thanks to you for all the help that you gave at a very rough time for me. You went so far as to go with me to help make the funeral arrangements, getting pallbearers (including being one yourself) and making sure that the insurance claims with the K of C and the other insurance company (which had since been taken over by another company and I did not have an agent for) were properly filed. I believe that The Knights of Columbus provides some of the best Life Insurance available anywhere. You are an outstanding person and agent for that company and I recommend you to anyone in need of insurance and representation by an excellent agent. Yours truly,  James R. I would like to praise Mr. McCabe's efforts which went far beyond the call of duty.  All of us found him to be professional (extremely knowledgeable and self-assured), yet genuinely warm, supportive and unobtrusive.  His concern for all facets of our financial and spiritual welfare was truly remarkable. He is a rare individual whose sensitivities and talents should not go unrecognized.  We are deeply grateful for all his help during that difficult time.  Our family sends him the sincerest thanks.
